Cookie Policy
What we use cookies for, which providers are involved, and how to change your choices at any time.
About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Data Products LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on dataproducts.io, what each category is for, and how to change your choices at any time. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. We also use related technologies — pixels, tags, local storage and session storage — and refer to all of them here as “cookies”.
Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function: routing requests, keeping a session, remembering that you have set your cookie preferences, and protecting forms against automated abuse. These cannot be switched off and do not require consent.
Preferences
Remember choices you have made, such as a dismissed notice, so the site behaves consistently between visits.
Analytics and performance
Help us understand how the site is used — which pages are read, where visitors arrive from, where journeys break down, and which content leads to an enquiry. This is how we improve both the site and the services we offer. Set only with your consent.
Marketing and measurement
Allow us to measure which campaigns bring relevant visitors and to reach comparable audiences on professional networks. Set only with your consent.
Cookies set on this site
The table below lists the providers we use and what each is for. Individual cookie names and lifetimes are set by the provider and may change; the current set is always shown in the cookie settings panel.

- Maintains your session and delivers pages. Expires when you close your browser.
- Consent record
- Stores your cookie choices so we do not ask again. Typically 12 months.
- Form protection
- Guards contact and assessment forms against automated submission. Session only.
Analytics and performance
- Google Analytics 4
- Measures pages viewed, traffic sources, and how visitors move through the site. Typically up to 14 months. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Site performance
- Records load times and errors so we can fix what is slow or broken. Session to 12 months.
Marketing and measurement
- LinkedIn Insight Tag
- Measures campaign performance and allows us to reach professional audiences similar to our visitors. Typically up to 6 months. See LinkedIn’s privacy policy.
- Meta Pixel
- Measures the effectiveness of campaigns run through Meta platforms. Typically up to 3 months. See Meta’s privacy policy.
Our assessments
Worth knowing
Our free assessments are scored in your browser. Your answers are held in memory only while you work through the questions and are discarded when you close the tab. They are not written to a cookie and are not transmitted to us.
Your choices
When you first visit, we ask for your consent before setting any analytics or marketing cookies. You can change your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page.
You can also control cookies in your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete them, and most let you do so per site — look under Privacy or Site Settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
Some providers offer their own opt-outs, including the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
There is no common standard for responding to Do Not Track browser signals, and we do not currently respond to them. We do honour the Global Privacy Control signal where it is transmitted, treating it as an opt-out of sale and sharing for the browser that sends it.
Changes
We update this policy when the technologies we use change. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
