Careers & talent network

Do senior data and AI work for clients who will use it.

Our engagements are led from Chicago and staffed from a bench of vetted senior specialists, including people in Latin America, Europe and North Africa, on hours that overlap the US working day. Send your resume once. When an engagement matches what you do, a person calls you.

One application covers contract work and full-time roles. Your resume does most of the work; the questions here are the few it usually leaves out.

  • A person reviews every application.

How we use AI on applications

We use an AI model to read resumes. It drafts a profile from yours: your skills, tools, industries, certifications and years of experience, and the practice your work fits best. A person checks that profile against your resume and makes every decision about your application.

  • The AI does not decide. It does not reject, rank or score applicants.
  • It ignores who you are. It is told never to record your age, gender, ethnicity, nationality, disability or family status, or to guess at the reasons for gaps in your work history.
  • You can opt out. Tick the box in the form, and a person reads your resume without AI. It makes no difference to how your application is treated.
  • You can ask. Reply to our confirmation email to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted.

Questions

Asked before people apply

Will I be an employee or a contractor?

Bench work is contract work, as an individual or through your own company, depending on where you are and the engagement. Full-time roles are employment, and are posted on this page when they open.

How are matches made?

By a person, against what the engagement needs: the practice, the tools, the industry and the hours. When there is a match, we call you first.

How long do you keep my application?

Up to two years. If you join the bench, we keep your profile while you are active and ask you to confirm it once a year. You can ask us to delete it at any time by replying to our confirmation email.

I am earlier in my career. Should I apply?

Most bench work needs senior people, so we place few earlier-career specialists. If you are close, apply and say so in the note.

Know someone who belongs on the bench?

Send them this page. Every application is read by a person, and the right people hear back.
